Pamela Ann Howe born 1968 in Kingsport, Tennessee is an American singer, composer and poet. Drawing from pop, jazz, Bossa nova, hip hop and spoken word, her songs reflect her feelings about love, nature, and the profound mystery of living on planet Earth. Her voice and her words are calling to love, because when love enters, the transformation begins.
At 17, she started playing classical guitar and soon began writing songs. As she entered adulthood and the city of Atlanta, Ga. in the late 80's she met Bill Taft and began performing at An Evening with the Garbageman, a spoken-word open mic variety show, which he hosted at The White Dot. Bill also hosted an open mic evening called The Mud Shack. This is where Pam met Benjamin (The Opal Foxx Quartet) and Debbey Richardson whose performances were life changing influences on Pam's approach to her music and world view.
Pam's voice and original songs inspired musicians who saw her perform and soon she began fronting bands.
Human, her first solo record was released in 1999. Her second The Sky is Me was released in 2001.
